Has anyone experienced a problem using the DCCD manual mode while turning at slow speeds? My STI produces a lot of noise and vibration no matter what setting I use while tuning in manual mode. I have tried all the manual settings and it does not help.
I realise that some noise could be produced if the front and rear wheels turn at a slight different rate, but this is excessive. It works fine in AUTO mode and at speeds over 20 miles an hour in Manual mode. I can't believe that this is normal as it makes the manual DCCD almost worthless. Does anyone have an idea as to the cause of this problem?

look in your manual, it's called torque binding. leave the car in auto mode for everyday driving.

If your in manual mode and are doing "parking" type turns and movement, or K turns and such set the DCCD to full open or auto.

I have read the owners manual. I am talking about excessive torque binding to the point where the entire car shakes when turning at slow speeds everytime. This is not an occasional situation. I find it hard to believe that you can't ever make a slow turn in DCCD manual mode. Does everyones STI perform like that?
