Question STi Transit Time

I just put a deposit down on a Silver/Silver STi with no options. Supposedly it is "in transit" and on the boat between Subaru and the US Port.

I was wondering what kind of time it took for others to get their STi's once they were in transit? I have heard some horror stories about delays at the port but maybe this is related to installing options?

Heh

I just got mine last Friday (Aug. 8th). My dealer got news of the allocation for my car sometime around the 10th of July (also a silver/silver... looks sharp, nice choice BTW ). It arrived at the port on the 28th, and was "delayed in yard" until the first of August. Sometime on that day it was loaded on some kind of transportation (train?? truck??) and took until the night of the 7th to arrive. Keep in mind, I think this trip was to from Portland OR to Boise ID, which is only a 12 hour drive if you let grandma take her caddy.

But, it's here, and it's so worth the wait!

That last week when it's in-route and can arrive at "any time now" is the worst!
