Post Ordered my BPM exhaust today?

I got it from Pam at ISR. She was very helpful, knowledgable, and courteous. I would recommend ISR so far!!!! You guys should jump on a full turbo back exhaust at this price

Keep us updated. By this time next year, I'll feel my car is worthy of a birthday present. The BPM system is exactly what I want.

I know wheels and tires should be first, but they aren't available here in the rainy state (OZ SLs) so I figured this would be a good mod for around $1000. Plus, I'll get to install something within the first few weeks of having the car so the bolts won't have time to set too hard. The stock tires still cause me some concern.....

No, The HPC is much better for performance and temp management. (I know firsthand) I don't care about looks too much and not many people crawl under my car to check out my exhaust

The ISR web site is really kewl and it has a lot of great products, but does anyone else think that the prices of their items are a bit on the high side? A lot of people won't be able to afford 1-2K$ in upgrades right off the bat after buying the car. I'm thinking that given some time, the prices will come down anyway, especially once there is more competition in the aftermarket like from HKS, Greddy, etc. I'm not in a rush.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be the first to say that I'm willing to pay an amount relative to the quality of the products, but the existing "specialty shops" may be trying to take advantage of the initial scarcity of aftermarket parts for the WRX in order to make a bigger profit. Nothing against that either, I'm all for capitalism, but it does disuade a good number of buyers(or is it just me?). This is not a slam on ISR in any way, just a general observation of the current state of the aftermarket for the new WRX.

BTW...I'm probably a bit "tainted" as far as aftermarket pricing coming from a 2000 Mustang GT. It would seem if you can get a stainless name brand DUAL cat-back exhaust and dual high flow cat X-pipe for under $1K for a new Mustang, you should be able to get a single full exhaust w/ down pipe and high flow cat for at least $600-$800 for a WRX.

Thoughts and opinions greatly appreciated.

Does the BPM exhaust include a hi-flow cat or a straight-pipe?

It includes a cat. I ordered one to, and even though suck4it thinks I am a butthole, I love him a lot. He's a great guy.

Their prices are very competitively set. Yes, there are some items that cost an arm and a leg, but they aren't just simple upgrades. A full BPM (shipped from AU) turbo-back exhaust has lots of R&D into it. The dump-pipe has the wastegate gases seperated from the main exhaust for maximum performance. Heck, the BPM twister muffler is anywhere from $350-$700 backbox. You get what you pay for.

Prog, check out ScoobySport's website http://www.scoobysport.co.uk . The do have an application for the new WRX, but because it's the overseas model they list it as the MY01 WRX

Thanks for the feedback so far everyone. Since I'm still getting used to the import scene again (I owned a modified 93' 240SX for 3+ years, and a 98' Integra GS-R a very brief 5 months, but that's anothr story), It'll take me some time to adjust to the Subaru aftermarket. For instance, I wasn't aware that BPM products were imported from Austrailia, then again it wasn't mentioned on the ISR site, so I'm still getting up to speed on the things.

For now.....I'm sitting on the fence both parts wise AND car wise.... (my WRX comes in in 6 weeks )
