Question Missfire: #4 cyl

My CEL comes on regularly, and every time I read the code it is a missfire on the #4 cyl. Anyone know what might cause this? I could just start throwing parts at it, but I'd rather save the money and just fix the problem.

Thanks!

Check for corrosion on the terminal on the coil pack. Also check for a broken plug and / or bad connection on the wire.

my friend had the same problem in his RS

Check your coil when the motor is running, and look for arching, if so, you might need a new coil

Had the same problem on my WRX after a rallyX run. Spark plug became disconnected. Reconnected everything and it ran just fine.
