Question Honda Transplants??

Since Honda parts are cheap and plentiful, are there any that will bolt up to a '93 L??

No.

For the amount of cash you'll be spending making it fit, you could have a WRX engine in there.

It would be a lot of work and money and not worth it in the end. It would be one of a kind but you would be considered a sellout.

I think being considered a sellout would be the least of my concerns. I'd be more worried about actually making as much power as I could be with a better engine after shelling out a lot of dough.

There is not a single Honda engine I would want in my car aside from perhaps an S2000 engine. You are much better off sticking with some sort of Subaru swap. There are plenty of options from a 2.2L 135hp engine to a 300hp 2.5L engine and everything in between.

Please tell me this is a joke...

seriously, you might be able to swap goofy little accessories like shift knobs, neon light tubes, seat belt pads, LED windshield squirters, etc... Check your local Pep Boyz!

Dude, don't you know how it's done? The VTEC engine is not important, you just need the sticker. Slap VTEC on the Subaru valve covers(doesn't matter if you can't actually see them when installed in the engine bay). Put a type R sticker on the back and powered by VTEC across the windshield. Then you'll be running as strong as any mad tyt3 Honda tun3r.
