Default Subie Gurus please give ECU theory to my problem...

I have a 2001 Forester with the Cobb Power Package 1 intake and exhaust.
Recently I had to take my car to the dealer to supposedly have some CEL error fixed in the ECU codes.
OK. ISR did the reflash to the new factory recall setting and I thought that was the end of the story.
Until I did 1000 miles of high speed driving where I could open it up wide.
But, guess what ?!
My Forester used to be able to pin the speedo fairly easily, but now I have a big problem !!!
The engine can't go past 110mph. Before the reflash this wasn't the case. But It's not like the car just doesn't react when you hit 110mph it's like the entire transmission is going to rip out and explode !!!

I have gone from the stock 215/60R16 to 215 55R16 could that diameter miscalculation by the ECU cause the computer to think that there was a torque problem ???

This is a major drag my friends !!!! Is it the ECU or is it some transmission problem which is occurring ?

If this is supposed to be some kind of factory safeguard it is the most dangerous solution to a problem ever. Right now exactly when I hit 110mph, every single time it feels like the car just shifted into first and that the gears are going to grind themselves to a hault !!!

Anyone have a clue ???

Default Automatic.

It's an automatic, that's why I was assuming that some ECU reprogramming is the culprit because that's the latest mod to the car.
