Default Where is the Subaru Port?

I thought all the US STi's were coming into the US through a west coast port but the salesman where I have my STi on order just told me that mine is coming in on the east coast. He thought New Jersey but wasn't sure.

Anyone know where the east coast port is?

I think it's Boston, but I'm not 100% certain, it could be Port Newark, NJ.

This takes me back to the days when I was waiting for my STi - glad that's over! My understanding is there are two ports on the East Coast - one in Cherry Hill, NJ and the other in Providence, RI. I'd wager yours (being in OH) is coming from Cherry Hill, as I think Providence is for Subaru of New England solely.

Mine's on that damn boat too. I'd go pick it up at the port if I could!

I hear this shipment should be here in a week - week and a half from today. The days don't go fast enough. As they say, good things come to those who wait......we have very good things coming to us!

I ordered mine in NNJ.

<----- time to sell her, she'll be missed, 80,000 sweet, sweet miles.

West coast comes in through Vancouver Washington. See truck loads of Sti's all the time. Not sure how far East they ship from that port.

Talking At the port!

Thanks for the info.

I spoke to my dealer today. He said my STi is at the port and that they have been invoiced for it and that I should have by the end of next week at the latest.

Its going to be a long week and a half!

Even though I'm in Ohio, I bought my car from a dealer in Virginia- Couldn't get a fair deal in Ohio. So I bet that it is coming through the Virginina port?

I don't know about all of NE, but a lot of NE's STis come into Quonset Point in RI. It's not Providence, but further south in the bay. I know because I see the ship come in all the time (I live in Newport), and the first STis I saw on the raod was a truckfull on the road back when the first batch came into NE a month after everyone else in america.....

I've only seen one other STi on the road since then. A black one in Boston.... Anyway Quonset Point RI is where they come in around here. Used to be an airforce base, and it's where the airshow is now.
