too bad the wagon doesn't have the same setup as the sedan. i would much rather have the clear/white on top with the same geometry. the sedan's rear lights have to be the coolest IMHO.

hmm..i guess that's why i don't see a problem with the stock lights...since i have a sedan
anyways, if you reaaally want some altezza's...try vividracing.com...i've heard good and bad on their rep, and i don't know if they have wagon lights...but it's worth a shot right? |

altezza's
there are lots of sites with altezza, and i'm sure that it wouldn't really be that big of a mod to make them fit a wagon, prolly just something that need to be shaved off the light housing.
but ya www.nopionline.com www.asylumms.com www.vividracing.com www.matrixracing.com and the list goes on |

hmm.. i think it'll be more than just shaving cuz the whole shape in itself is different than the sedan..

The my2004 wagon's taillight cluster is somewhat different. You might want to consider getting that. Aside from a small rounded cut that you need to make on the rear bumper cover, afaik, it fits the my2002-2003 GG's perfectly.

the curve is more in the middle of the tail light than on the sides of the tail light like the sedan..
as for getting the 04 tail lights, it's different, might give it a try, but i would still prefer anything other than from a stock or from another stock... |

The picture above has been posted so many times it is becoming offensive. The problem with after market lights is one of quality. If you bought a pair I can almost guarantee one of the two will have a condensation problem. They also have a tendency to leak water into the trunk area. Also the metal used in the lights will quickly corrode. I believe there are several styles that look far better then the stock lights but the quality is just not there and is likley to cause problems done the line.

There are other problems in addition to build quality.
Many of them have red turn signals instead of amber ones. While red is an legal turn signal color in North America, it's illegal in most of the rest of the world because it makes it harder to distinguish a brake signal and a turn signal. It's a safety downgrade without question. In addition, a lot of cheap aftermarket taillights do not project light to the sides of the car. That's bad because it means at night your car is less visible. And if the turn signal is not visible from the side, then someone might never see the signal if you're changing lanes on a highway. Others lack a reflector built into the assembly, which makes the car less visible to other drivers when parked at night. ...and so forth... |

the only altezzas i ever bought were ones with fully flat black interior surfaces and clear red lenses for my black 2k1 eclipse. i hate altezzas but those just looked oem and about 100X better then stock.
however i bought them and payed almost 200 bones for em from tyc, supposedly the best company for altezzas, and i sent 3 sets back for condensation, i finally got my $$ back and called it a day. |
