Ok well scratch that idea. Reason:

Well after 12 long hours of work I had an awaking. I was driving along in a daze just thinking about food and AC. While I was stopped at a light I hear an older voice yell "Hey", yet in a friendly manner. I look over and it's a middle aged guy(maybe older), he asks how I like my car. I respond with the usual "I like it" then think about it for a second and basically repeat myself by saying "actually I like it a lot". He goes on to telling me how he really wants one, yet he hasn't been able to talk his wife into it. I clarify that I'm not driving a wrx, but a RS. He assures me he knows the difference, but he likes the older body style better along with the 2.5L. Then the light turned green and we went on are way.

So overall that just brightened my day, and made me realize how much I like my car. The light was very long for some reason, normally it's the quickest light on my ride home.

maybe that guy that liked your car was real, and it was just a figment of your conscience mind to help decide whether you really wanted to keep the car or not

That's pretty cool. I've actually had stuff sort of like that happen to me when I wish I had a turbo from time to time. I still love getting the "what the heck IS that?" look now that these cars are getting more rare.

Haven't even sold my RS yet and I already miss it. My STi is fantastic, but there is something about the RS that the WRX and STi don't have. It just had a different more fun to drive feel. I'm sure I'll get that with the new car too though. Just finished break in. With the P1 suspension and sway bar I had, I would actually say that it handled a little better then my STi as well. Oh well, running it out to carmax tomorrow.
