Looks like loads of fun! Is that Solo I?

Pity here in Michigan I haven't seen such a thing. Would really favor some good track time in my future WRX.

Pleasant scenery too!

Not Solo I, just a time trial day...6 30 minute sessions

The Bay Area has Laguna Seca, Sears Point and Thunderhill all within hours...I feel lucky they are so close.

We'll have a very nice track in Tooele within the next year or so. It won't be a true road course, but will be nice and twisty with a number of very high speed areas.

I can't wait.

Hi SFsube!

I was the guy driving the loud ass NSX at the Donutz event. Man your car is nice! I went to take a peek at your engine bay, looks nice man. Definitely something I would do when I get my 2.5RS. oh btw, you were laying down some serious smack at Thill!
see you at the next Donutz event!

How much did it cost? Did you need a rollcage to participate? In England, you can do hotlaps for a few hundred dollars and you don't need special equipment or licenses. Is this like that?

No cage required. The groups are divided by ability and passing rules. In my group, which included race prepped Porsches and BMWs, there is open or unlimited passing.

Respect for other drivers and the differing capabilities of the numerous types of cars makes for some pretty tight, but safe, high speed fun.

cheers,

angus

oops...and it was $115 as an instructor and $250 otherwise.

Full ambulance, flaggers, announcer, lunch/drinks etc plus 6x30min sessions.

To me, an amazing deal, especially since my last speeding ticket cost more and was 1/1000th the fun.
