Default 2001 Forester to XT conversion

Are the Subaru factory parts readily available yet to convert the 2.5 (EJ25) to the XT turbo kit ?
Also how big of a turbo could I add to an XT before the car becomes unreliable for 1000 mile trips through the desert ?

You know that the new EJ25 turbo and the old N/A EJ25 motors are quite different, right? I think it's more of a complete swap vs. just bolting on parts.

As to the reliability w/ a bigger turbo, it just depends on whether or not you match up the fuel system to the increased boost. Heat will also be your enemy.
