Alright ladies and gentlemen. Quick question for you all. I know that Magnicore wires are the most common used for our subies and they are 8.5 mm, if I remember correctly. On ebay right now they have Sparco wires that are 9.2 mm in width. The question is this. Is the Sparco wire going to be too wide to actually provide improvement or is that something worth looking into? My buddy seems to think that this size might be too big. Any info would be greatly appreciated

I doubt that the Sparco wire could be considered too big. It should actually be a better conductor of electricity, although I doubt that a 9.2 mm would be a real improvement. It would be more like overkill, but shouldn't hurt a thing.
I checked out the wires on e-bay. Why is Sparco, spelled Sparkco? Hmmmmm? Last edited by GQ; 08-13-2003 at 04:29 PM. |

honestly???
i think all "aftermarket" wires are a huge waste of $$ - why not get the OE - which are GOOD... and DESIGNED and ENGINEERED for your car .... You dont NEED magnecores and the like unless you are huge on power and need higher spark voltages.... basically w/stock engine - you're wasting your $$ on something that really wont do much for your car... OE = $26 for the set... Aftermarket's like magnecores = $$$ just doesnt make much sense to me. ![]() good luck Jamie www.subiegal.com |

Yeah, they're not Sparco like the seats. They're Spark..co. Don't waste your money. Buy some oem ones. If you're just looking for cool colors then.....well don't.
