Another oil pressure sender question...
I got the sender installed but the screw on top of the sender is getting in the way of my intercooler hose. Did anyone else have this problem with the autometer sender unit. If so How did you solve it. I was thinking moving the unit to the other gallery plug behind the alternator and putting the stock dummy light in the gallery plug under the intercooler. Any other suggestions?

There is a lot of space there - you must be using an adapter or autometer has a hella tall sender.
That said there is no reason that the stock pressure switch (you are in trouble well before 2.5 lbs) would not work in the rear gallery and the temp in the front. I know others who have done gauges that way. |

I had the same problem with mine I ended up getting a stainless line and made up a bracket and attatched it to the fender you could also run it to your firewall and mount it there.

Omori remote mounts the oil pressure sender with a standard hose see here:
Omori install. I think but am not positive this is the part number: P-285 teflon mesh hose L type L=500mm with teflon made for racing There is no picture on the site but if you check with them just ask for the hose used with their electric oil meters. |
