Default Anyone want a salvaged WRX for cheap?

I'm polling interest in a salvaged WRX. You would have to come pick it up. Here is the damage: front smashed and rear smashed. The only thing wrong with the engine is the radiator is smashed. Suspension, transmission, are fine. Windshield has some cracks. Hood is bent. I believe the frame is fine. I think the car is in awesome shape.

This car could be turned into a great RallyX car or an AutoX or Track car. Granted, getting it streetable again would not be cheap because of the laws. But there are a lot of valuable parts still on the car like Engine with ECU, transmission, diffs, etc.

I'm still deciding if I want it or not. If not, I'd like to get around $2400 for it. Please PM me if your are remotely interested. I have pictures. I'd rather sell it cheap to someone who is going to use it then to someone who is going to just let it sit or part it out.

I live in Huntsville, AL.

46k miles on the car. And to be frank, I AutoXed the car a lot. But it held up very well. I changed the front left wheel bearing about 2k miles ago. The others feel fine. I will PM you my contact info.

Yeah, it is/was my car. Long boring story. Basically I hydroplanned on a bridge while it was raining and hit the wall 3 times with the front and rear of the car. The wheels and sides never hit the wall. I was ok. I was only going 60, but I was changing lanes when I hit the standing water which thus upset the car and I couldn't hold on to it. Sadly, I was coming home from an AutoX (2nd in PAX).
There were cars behind me but they didn't hit me, luckily.
I'm buying a used WRX to replace the one I lost.

Yeah, I have already claimed a car. It has some of my parts on it already. I'm just waiting for the check from the insurance company so we can finish it.

Whoever buys this car, if you part it out, I am very interested in several parts: ie, seats.. (dibs!)

Sorry to hear about your accident. Standing water sucks! ... Straight from the fool who decided to use Azenis as daily drivers. lol....

I don't play around . I plan on renting a trailer/truck to go pick it up.

I posted, sent a pm immediately after, then called Michael (Dussander). Hopefully you don't change your mind and still sell it.

Thanks,

Cam

I can attest to the great condition this is in. I came over and drank Mike's beers while he was switching back to stock. He was actually gonna get it running before insurance came to tote it away, but we made fun of him 'til he changed his mind. What a loon. When I saw this thread, I had to email him and call him stupid for selling it so cheap. You're getting a great deal, Cam. Good luck with the swap. Sounds cool.
