Default Turbo timer??

I just recently got my WRX so it is still bone stock. I was wondering if it was necessary to install a turbo timer though. I asked at the dealer ship how the turbo was designed and they just straight came out and said i don't have to let it run after driving and i don't need a timer...but i tend not to believe that. If i indeed do need a timer what would u suggest? Blitz, apexi?

A timer is not necessary, this has been covered ad nauseum here, use the search to find out why.

I added one just to be safe... I got the dtt for 115 w/ harness so It acts as a boost gauge, and is cheaper..
