Default Cobb Stg 2 93 Oct Reflash 1.08

I just got my cobb reflash back today and put it in the car but I have to wait untill tomorrow for my helix DP to come. Anyway my Revision number is 1.08....The web shows 1.05 as current. What #'s do other people have out there? What may be the differences?

Mine is 1.07. I wonder what the differences are?
Perhaps when COBB has the AccessPort finished, they'll post the revisions and the particulars to each.

I originally had version 1.02 and had it updated to version 1.07 and it it solved my Cat Eff CEL and a jerky condition under partial throttle. I have been very happy with the updated version.

I got mine 'bout 2-3 weeks ago and it is 1.08. I thought this was a specific map for the '04s-guess not. Be glad - you have the newest map.

They don't get rid of the cels, they expand the parameters of the signal. This way you do not throw a cel. They do this on every stg 2 automatically.

That's partly true; they do automatically broaden the parameters. That doesn't necessarily prevent CELs though. My car throws the P0420 (cat inefficiency) with Cobb's Stage 2 reflash (v1.07 I believe).

I spoke with them about this last week, and apparently they're working on some new code that will block the P0420 altogether, but still remain emissions-compliant. As I understand, prior to this enhancement, they were capable of completely blocking the P0420, but doing so would trigger a "not ready" signal to an OBD-II emissions tester, resulting in a failed test.

They're hoping to have the new and improved fix in place this week or next... of course as they were telling me this, I'm thinking "here we go again"
