Question gas mileage

how is your gas mileage per tank. maybe its just me but i seem to only be getting 200-220 miles to the tank. that doesn't seem sufficient.

I can just squeeze 300 miles out of a tank. All highway at 75 mph. I've been getting about 23 to 24 mpg.

6.5~7 Kms per L.

with a almost full tank (53L) got 358kms or 223 miles...

will never want to go anywhere near the 60L end and watch it die..

Have a Nice Day?

I have yet to set the odometer to check the mileage. It isn't a concern for a high performance car w/close ratio 6 speed and no overdrive. If you drive it to have fun, then it's not a problem. If you drive it on the mild side to get more out of a tank of gas then perhaps a Primus was the way to go.

If I take it easy I will get to 250 when the low gas light comes on. If I'm doing a long highway trip and crusing the whole time, not acclerating hard out of the toll booths I will get to 300 miles. If i'm just driving local and having a very hard time not flooring the gas pedal every safe chance I get then I will only get around 200 miles. It really depends on how you drive it.

my commute:

1.5 miles to get to freeway
4 miles on freeway
2.5 off freeway, surface streets to work, which includes a 1 mile uphill climb of 15% incline.

lunch is down this 1 mile downhill and then uphill again.

going home is reverse.

so that's around 20 miles or so per day.

i avg 18. sometimes 17.6.

but when i went to oregon last month, 99% freeway and i was around 24-25.

I almost always get 240 miles per tank, myself, and it takes about 14 gallons at fill-up, give or take .5 gal.
