Wink Who else knows they are going to lose their license with this car.

Just picked up my Pearl Black STI on Wednesday and I have to say I am very impressed but at the same time I know my license is a far gone conclusion, anyone else feeling this way.

Also I'm putting the stereo in it tonight anyone have any pointers/suggestions on where to run or running 4G Power, RCA's, remote, etc back to the trunk. I've already read most of the threads about putting the speakers in being a bitch.

Thanks.

I know ill get my first ever speeding ticket before my 30 day tags are off..

Radar detectors are illegal in the great state of VA, so I dont think I should risk getting one of those

Yes, Valentine 1 will surely help.

You may also be interested in autocrossing and doing some track/driving schools. You may find that these outings will settle your crave for speed. Its good therapy!

Cheerfully!

So is 'Cheeba' and the 'Dirty Sanchez'.

The operative word is stealth.
Keep it on the downlow and go with a quality unit (Valentine 1) thats non-detectable and you'll be alright.

I'm off to get my county property tax sticker...

Just yesterday I was in a traffic court where Chicago cop was lying like a pig just to give me a ticket (I got $35). I am afraid I can have more problems like this when I would get a ticket for something I did not do.

As soon as I got this car, I allowed myself to get in "a little" trouble... What'd'ya know?... 3 days later I got caught speeding.

not if only a motorola is involved - careful who you pass.

off duty cops drive all type of vehicles and like to use their radios even when off duty. just wrote the check.

Ive had my wrx for a year and a half now and I drive like a hooligan. Ive gotten 5 tickets since I got the car

1. 55 in a 34
2. 101 in a 60
3. 80 in a 50
4. failure to obey sign
5. 55 in a 40

I am getting slightly better at not speeding now. The 101 miler is a 2 point offense. So I should have 6 points on my license right now.

However with a little perseverance, I worked that number down to something more palatable for both my insurance company and the dmv.

I only have 1 point on my license. Fought every single ticket trial by declaration, then losing those went to court. 1 time the officer retired and they dismissed it, another time the officer just didnt show up and they dismissed it. In both those cases, I got my entire fine back as a check in the mail.

The other ones I took online traffic school for. 40 minutes at www.anytimetrafficschool.com, you can take traffic school as many times as you want. One of the cops that pulled me over mentioned that to me, but this was ticket 5, and I'd already done traffic school twice so I just sat there and smiled at him.

You dont have to lose your license or have your insurance go up. You just need the desire to fight the system and not take it in the ass for wanting to drive fast.

on a side note, now I go to auto-x's and this has killed most of my urges to speed all the time. I usually keep it under 75 on the freeway, and maybe 10 over at the most on street.
