Apex Japan,.when are you guys coming to the US to report on anything?

I realize we dont have much "ground breaking" news ,or any new anything that would be of interest to the rest of the world,...but for now,..we have the fastest, mass produced Subaru ever made !! It would just be great if you guys anounced waayyyyyy in advance of an event you were going to attend,..and then all kinds of great examples of Subarus would show up, and represent America in your writings and photos.

Just a thought,..I'm sure you'd get alot of Japaneese cars at any event you guys came to, and for that matter, if all the large Co's were there it would be one big event.

Like , say......"J-Spec 2004" and have a drift contest,..blah-blah-blah,...maybe this has been done ,..I just wish we could have something that more true and hardcore, where the Japaneese vendors would want to showcase like at the Tokyo Auto show.

I think the reason why no one replied because the tone of your post sounded very immature like you're demanding Paul from Apex to answer a stupid question.

Anyways, the USDM STI is not the fastest Subaru, hardly is ever the fastest Subaru ever made.

The JDM exclusive 22B is faster, so is the 320HP S202, as well as the lighter Type RA Spec C model.

Do yourself a favor, buy Best Motoring DVD watch the last Impreza vs Lancer battle.

It's Saturday over here (that's right folks, we live one day ahead in the future!). I don't check in very often on the weekends, there has to be a little bit of down-time from the computers.

I don't know when I'll make it over next - unlike Car and Driver, we don't exactly operate on the largest of budgets (I think I've got $4 in loose change around somewhere...), so it's not likely to happen soon... Well, unless I convince some Japanese magazines that it would be interesting to cover the American SEMA, which may get me over for that, at least.

Paul, some Japanese car mag dedicated a huge story to what Foreign Journalists think of J spec only cars....I would think that they would be willing to send J journalists to foreign countries in order to do the opposite....but then again knowing the Japanese as I do, they are not interested.

There have been more US STI's made so far than, 22b's and s202 combined,...ok sport ?

Second I sorta' was joking with the apex Japan guys to a great degree and I'm sure PH and B4 know that,....

Its more of a wish than something that really needed a response,.let alone from YOU !!
thirdly I dont really give a ---- about what you think,...

The S202 is so rare, and from I have heard are almost never seen even in Japan,..let alone a 22b,.which has about the same performance numbers as an STI in the US,...and given the fact that the STI is 450 lbs heavier, says alot..

So if you cant contribute to this thread with something other than your false understanding of where I was coming from,.then mind your own business.

I would bet that the US STi would put a major hurt on the 22b in almost any contest of speed. Sorry time moves on and the 22B's time is... done. I'd still love to own one just because it looks cool, but... thats it.

S202 is sweet.... but a very very rare car that is becomming rarer by the day as foos actualy race them and stuff them at speed.

you can find a lot of S 202 on *** 2nd hand markets

most are really new.. less than 8K km

a buddy of mine from down under was trying to big one and imported to NZ..

some financial problem is bugging him just in case he buy it i ll post pics
