The best way is to buy the Random Tech first generation High-Flow cat. It will gut itself in less than a week, piece of *****.

I still have my gutted cat on and have no check engine light. Never did for the cat.

I have the first generation Random Technologies high flow cat. The guts blew out of it about a week after putting it on. That was about a year ago, and had no CEL triggered since. Dont know why, just hasn't.

Personally I'd use a table, but if you insist on doing it on a 2.5 RS you should proabably lay down some newspaper on the hood or something then go to work.

Sorry, couldn't resist. (and no I've never butchered a cat, although I have given it some thought once or twice.)

You really don't want to gut the cat. Since it's not a straight pipe it will actually hinder performance.

keep in mind that cat gutz are super-duper carcinogenic. wear a face mask, goggles, and long sleves. you don't want any dust settling anywhere on you. also, make damn well sure you don't do it indoors

start with a table...no, thats all wrong. You wanna hang it by its hind legs and with a sharp knife, start in at the pelvic reagin and with a downward motion....
