Default creaking noise after dealer service

I posted this over in the General section but hopefully I'll get more responses here.
My car started making a creaking noise when going over something on an angle, like when turning into a driveway that has a short, steep lip, or when driving over a speed hump at an angle. Doesn't seem to do it when going over straight on.
The car NEVER made this noise until I had the dealer perform a 30K mile service which included rotating tires, fluid changes, etc.
It sounds like it's coming from the suspension or the body structure itself on the passenger side.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
It's driving me crazy.

Make sure all the lug nuts are tightened down and torqued correctly. Aside from that, bring it back to the dealer if the problem still persists.

i bet you that you have a bushing that the lube went bad in. if it is you can get it relubed for 60 bucks, but if you dont mind the noise it is structurally sound even tho it creeks.

Dan,
Can you explain this a bit more? Which bushing do you think it would be?

He could be referring to the sway bar bushings although it usually doesn't happen with the stock bushings. . .usually with the polyurethane aftermarket ones.

The noise turned out to be something more serious (in my opinion).

This is something that has occurred on other people's cars and is a known issue with some. The fix is to use some screws to provide enough separation between the metal pieces. I don't remember exactly what the issue was called, but you can do a search for 'creaking noise' in the suspension forums as that is where I had found it.

Unhappy creek

Ihad the same problem. The dealer had the car for a week until they found out it was actually the lower sway bar brace. It was not completly flush . Once the replaced it it has been fine ever since. It's been about 10k miles so far.
