Question Unichip any good?

Is the Unichip any good? I see tons of them for sale and i have the chance to pick one up used for $100. I would have to get it re tuned. Also could i buy the plug and play harness for it, since it does not come with one? Im looking for some more power from my car, but i dont want to spend the $$ on a Utec just yet, and I figured the chip would be better then just an MBC.

Any thoughts?? When I install the chip I will be running a catless turboback set up w/catless up pipe.

A unichip is a great deal at 100 bucks. However, most people have gone from uni's to reflashes or UTEC. These things simply have more/better features. However, fuel is fuel. Air is air. Timing is timing. Any ecu/modified chip can be tuned correctly. Using a reflash or a UTEC simply makes finding these right variables easier.

Full_Clip quoted Nathan, sort of.
