Default Factory boost gauge, accurate enough for tuning?

I have a TurboXS HP boost controller on the way and I was wondering if I can use the factory boost gauge to set the HPBC. I just need to set the boost at the factory level to fix the boost creep.

It should work just fine. Search on here for the appropriate Mpa values to set the boost on your car. However, I find my 45mm Omori boost gauge so much easier to read, and it's backlit in red.

Looks like a nice gauge. Did that fit on the factory mount? Use the existing plumbing and wiring?

Yep, I just used the stock mount, vacuum hose, and wiring. I got it from http://www.j-spectuning.com/.
