Default car whistles at highway speeds

lately, i've noticed that my car whistles when i'm driving on the highway. it doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it's reasonably loud. it seems to get higher in pitch when i speed up. i've only noticed it somewhat recently and the only thing i've done to the car is intake and just recently lowered the car. what should i look for to fix the noise? this is on a 01 2.5rs coupe. thanks

At what speeds does it start and where is the sound comming from? (what direction)

its most likely wind noise from the mirros, try folding them in when you hear the noise.

all scoobys are known for that.

^^Yep my mirrors do that every once in a while. That would definitely be the first place I would look.

That and the weatherstripping right where the mirror closes on it. You know that little triangular piece. Try pressing on it while driving. You'll notice a little buldge in the rubber, just press there and see if it stops. Mine does that.

I've noticed that my passenger window binds slightly on the weather stripping sometimes and doesn't close all the way. If I roll it down again and then back up, the whistling usually stops. Might be something like that.

my mirrors used to whistle at about 40mph.

yeah, i see that from about 40~45 mph and then it goes away.

I've never noticed a whistle and I've been upwards of 140mph.
