Default Stupid intercooler sprayer on the Evo.....

From the Evo board.......

"I have not used mine...it seems stupid.... spray a handfull of fluid (which is not nearly enough to cool anything down) onto a fairly hot piece of metal.? The liquid is not exactly cold anyway...so it would be 110F+++.......

nice idea, but only if you could use a garden hose of 50F water to actually cool the thing down some.

Just curious if anyone used theirs. I never turn it on and I never manually make it work.... i am almost certain it does nothing. "

Mitsubishi know nothing compared to this guy

MitSubEd promised FullClip that he would keep the impotence pics in a locked vault until the year 2315.

Please be careful when retrieving your carry on, as contents may have shifted during flight.

anxiety-related impotency then?

(i.e.-when you're with your boy/girl can't function)

think there's a blue pill for that now.

The fact the guy thinks he knows better than engineers who've gathered data from years of car produciton, car usage and not to mention rally experience explains the issue itself well enough.

Yeah, cause everyone knows that sweating does nothing to cool your body down.

You need a garden hose.

Talking

I love how when his initial thoughts on how it's ineffective were shot down, he finds some other reason why he shouldn't use it...can't just admit he was wrong...

I'm pretty sure the guy at the end is wrong about alchohol in washer fluid diminishing the effectiveness of the IC spray. alchohol evaporates a lot faster than water. it may remove less heat per unit volume, but it will do it much faster, and there is less chance of the alchohol laden water being blown off the IC before it has a chance to evaporate. he's right about the scale buildup tho.
