Default CEL Light and Hard Idle

I have 03 WRX Sedan with no mods what so ever. I have had the car for about seven months now. After taking it on a trip to Florida when I got back into town the CEL came on and the car started idleing very hard. The RPMs don't go up or down they stay within 700 RPMS at idle. I took it to the dealer and they told me it needed to have the ECM flashed with a new program. Well here it is today with the new ECM and after 15 min. same thing happens again. Any suggestion as to what it might be would be a help so I can go and yell at the dealer and SOA. Its really pissing me off. My car is brand new with no mods. I always use 91 or higher octane. I get my oil changed all the time. I should not have to deal with this on a new car.

No, you shouldn't but unfortunately these things do happen sometimes. The dealer has to fix it, it sucks that they didn't get it the first time but hopefully they will now.
As for what it could be there really isn't enough information here to even speculate on. Do you know what the code was that set the CEL? We need to know that to have any idea what the problem was.

well I have no way of telling what the code is. I need to get me a program. All I know is that it is quite anoying and frustrating. And no I never even knew there were two green connectors under the steering colum. What would happen is I connect them.

Your idle will go bad radiator fans will come on and off and your car will run like poop take a look just to make sure. Maybe someone else had your car or maybe it was the ghost from family circle. Go to an autozone to check the CEL for free!
