Default Standalone Fan switch?

Has anyone set up a standalone fan switch for the radiator fans?

I'm really looking to set up a switch where i can turn on the fan at will, but the fan will still work off the thermostat aswell....

Has anyone done this, if so, how, and do you have pictures?

Thanks in advance

(cooling off the engine at the track would be so mcuh easier if you could get air to flow thru the engine bay =P

I did this in my previous car, it really helped. I'm not sure if you know it or not, but you can force the fans to come on without the engine being on (keeping the car stock). This works in my 03 at least.

Turn the key to the run position, turn the fan speed to 1, press the A/C button to enable the compressor. This blows air out the vents and also turns on the fans up front. Not sure if this is what you're looking for since it requires you to leave the keys in the ignition...but it's a neat trick I discovered.
