K&N Typhoon Short Ram for WRX/STi Group Buy!

We are offering a group buy on the K&N Typhoon short ram intake for the 2002-2005 WRX/STi in wrinkle red finish. This is one of the few intakes that actually works for these cars, as it does not dramatically skew the MAF readings. Kit includes the intake, plastic heatshield, and all hardware needed for a quick DIY installation.

Group Buy price will be $218 shipped in the 48 states. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada, contact us for shipping costs.

We need 10 people to get this going, so please post your names below. These are all instock ready to go, so local people can pick up at our shop as well (in NY)

Here is a picture of it installed (without heatshield in this pic) on a customers 2005 STi. By just bolting the intake onto this car we saw a 6 lb foot increase in torque at the wheels

Yea I was wondering if the price will drop below 218 shipped if you get more than 10 people?
Also when is the last day for this group buy and when will parts be shipped?
Also, where are you located in NY cause im in CT?

Price might be able to come down more if there are more paticipants...we'll have to cross that bridge when we come to it

Once we have 10 people on the list, we'll set the start and stop date of the GB, parts will be shipped as orders come in

While I understand what you mean, when we posted the GB last week the cheapest ebay price was $220 shipped. If supporting a long standing vendor and site supporter is not worth an additional $8.00, then we would just assume not offer any GB's here

Will the wrinkle red fit on a WRX (non-STi)?
i read that the red wrinkle is ONLY for STi an the silver finish is for WRX.
please clarify and if wrinkle red is 100%fully compatible for WRX (i got an 04 WRX)
then I am in the group buy.

yes the wrinkle red fits the WRX just fine (02-05).

just curiousm whats supporting the intake, since the heat shield is not being used??? I know TXS comes with a little support bracket thingy. I just bought one, and dont really want to use the heat shield, thanx.

Amen!

Adam is certainly one of the most stand up vendors around. If you've checked out IWS lately, you can read up on a bunch of people getting screwed over by some other vendor trying to sell the same intake. Paypal??? Yeah, nobody gets screwed using that!!

Adam, I'd jump in, but I 've already got 2 intakes for my car.
