Default Paintballing

Does anyone here go Paintballing? First time I went paintballing was this past weekend we had over at PaintBall Jungle near Vallejo. Pretty fun, but I suck. Anyone here want to go and play? I could sure use some tips on how to not get shot (I got shot in the face twice ) and I plan on buying a gun in September (the rentals suck ) so i'd like some ideas on what gun I could get.

there are some good fields in Jackson. Paintball sams is kick ass. I'd be down to go out sometime - not during this heat though. Playing in this heat is NO fun.

I've seen other places. I like paintball jungle cause you play in a nice area. Lots of trees, barracks, bunkers, forts... etc. A lot of places i've seen is just open area with little walls. This place is 65 acres. Er.... thats what it said but I haven't played on all parts of the field yet. Last weekend I think there was at between 75-100 people on each team. First time I went paintballing but I was surprised that there were so many guys.... and girls.

i'm interested in playing ... I thought they had portable field in the Santa Clara fairgrounds.

I've got some gear to unload too:

My older tourney AutoMag: $250
- Polished, Steel Gray Body
- Custom-Made Walnut Wood Grips
- Ported, Polished and Vented Regulator Body - good for 10-12 bps
- Crown Point Barrel, J&J 11" Hardcrome Barrel (has won many tournies - 2 x 3Man 1st Places)
- VL2000 Power Series Loader, 200 ball capacity
- Vertical Feed
- No Tank
- Includes Parts Kits

My newer tourney Automag RT: $400
- Reactive Trigger - it provides feedback, to help you shoot faster
- Stock Internals
- 13" Dye Stainless Steel Barrel
- Compressed Air Tank - 3000 psi, 68 CC Air America Tank (inline bleed)
- Gun is supposedly good for 26 balls per second, I was only capable of shooting 14bps (i'm slow)
- Viewloader Evolution (normally $60)
- Gun has helped win 6 podium finishes (all 2nd and 3rd place finishes)
- Includes Parts Kits
- Comes with Padded Gun Pouch
- Includes Parts Kit

First gun sold also gets a mask and 6+1 harness (full of guppies).

i used to be a paintball addict! but i sold my force five autococoker and ground zero intimidator to help afford my rs. One tip, avoid the jungle at all costs. Carpet Bob who owns the place is a complete looser. He shoots hot guns, abuses his authority, and is just a complete dick. Hell ever heard of the iron men? Back in the day bob long and carpet bob used to play on the same team, but bob long got sick of carpet bob cheating on camera in tournaments and decided to disband the team. If you want to play rec ball i would recomend that you go to sherwood, which is right next to the jungle. Even better tho would be to go to wap, which is a great feild.

I've recently taken on paintballin this year me and my friends go maybe once every 2 weeks or so. We have our own field well kinda its in a creek near eastridge very safe and people have been playing paintball there for over the past 5 years!!! And I have been to many fields, and seriously this creek/field is made for paintballing!! Best part its freeeeeee... All u need is your own shiat... I know I could get about 6-12 people to go and many times there is another 5 people or so playin on this field before I get there.

Let me know if any one is down, as i could supply u all wit directions or something and maybe we can hit it up within the next few days or so.

I'll have to dust off my modified Thundercat, but I'd like to play again.

We used to play a few times a year at Action Paintball (I think that's the name) down the road from Sam's in Jackson. A lot of variety, multiple games on multiple courses.

Add me to the PM list!

Heh, surprised to read the blurb about Carpet Bob being a cheat, because that's what he is. I remember more than a few CTF and Hornet's Nest games where he was leading the opposing teams and they were practically at the door when the go code is given.

But my biggest regret is that I can no longer find my Carpet Bob patch to show that I nailed him once from an ambush

Yea actually the good thing about this place is there isnt really any housing near by, but yea I had recently started playing in this area but people have been playing here for over 5 years. Me and about 6 other people are going to head out there labor day, I will post directions in the next few days to whom ever is down to play.

Well i'm going paintballing at the paintball jungle on sept 13 & 14 and you're all welcome to join if you want. Ian (my2000rs) is down. Er... you better go and forget about work. Well i'd like it if a bunch of you all went. Meet some folks unless you all don't really want to meet some 18 year old shmuck like me. But my b-day is Sept 28 so i'll be a 19 year old shmuck! Well hopefully all you guys who said you're down to go will actually go. I just won at Cache Creek and i'm looking to buy either the Tipman A-5 Gun or the Tippmann '98 Stealth Package any of you guys got any opinions on which I should pick before I go?

a lot of people don't like the 98 but I love them. Very reliable gun....especially with the flatline barrel.

im down to play, i got a electric spyder that i bought from sportmart for 200 bucks came with mask tank hopper everything, and it was well worth the money. im down to play by the eastridge place. i usually play in my backyard or my friends, or my other friends property up in sonora, but it was way too hot and hilly, i got dehydrated, so eastridge im down with anytime of the week.
