Default Back-up Light Switch

I think I have a problem with the backup light switch. The back-up lights sometimes work and sometimes don't and sometimes blink.

Can I replace the back-up light switch on the 5spd box?
Is there any adjustments?

Thanks

Hi all I fixed the backup light switch. It's the switch on the driver side closest to the engine. A 3/4" wrench fits it well. The connector is next to the brown one on the back of the engine passenger side. After disconnecting the connector I jumped the leads for the switch and sure enough the backuplights worked. Then I removed the switch, after getting the wire un-hooked. There was a thick washer, oh about 1/8" thick between the switch and the tranny, I replaced it with a thinner washer made of flashing and it works great. The switch must have worn over time. This fixed moved the switch deeper into the trans.

See ya..........
