Default I can't find my transmission fluid dipstick!!!

I am referring to the manual, but I still can't find the dipstick to check the transmission fluid. It says it is near the airbox, but no luck for me. I also checked on www.northursalia.com, but that is referring to 2000-2001 models and I have a 2002 2.5RS 5spd. So if anyone out there knows how to do all this, it would be really helpful. Thank you.

It's not up near the top. You have to stick your hand further below. The stick is really short on MY99 and isn't bendy like the oil stick. Should be near the middle, but on the passenger's side.

I have an '02 rex and it's back near the firewall. Mines under my IC. So yours should be back near the firewall on the passengerside. Just look at the tranny on the passenger side and you should see it there. hope this helps

Might have to move a hose or wire loom IIRC.
