Post my black and blue...

Just wanted to post the most recent pic of my car.. today i did DIY blue badge and matching calipers... I decided on a DIY badge because i really dont want a PINK one and i could choose something i wanted and that i could match with the brakes, since i reaaally dont see myself with STI pink calipers

this is the only pic ive got, and they look too light, because of the flash, it is actually darker , like blue ridge pearl...
<IMG SRC="http://www.pr-roadracing.com/14.jpg" border=0>

has anyone noticed how the rotors instantly get rust-like when you wet them or in rain?
it goes away after driving for a few min though...

i tried to make the badge match the blueish hue of the midnight black, you can see both in this pic (the blueish on the paint shows a bit to the upper right of the badge)

I heated up the front star cluster with a blowdryer, once it was nice and hot, i used a flat head screw
driver to gently pry it off, after that, i used a VERY fine sandpaper (fine enough NOT to scratch
anything, but it does take a lot of time) and took off all the black stuff in the cluster (dont worry about
the stars, you wont even touch that with the sandpaper)
after that, you dry it, once dry you can use whatever color you chose for the badge, i used the same
blue that went on my calipers.
Gently spray the badge , then let it dry and give it a second coat. After that is dry, take some 3m
double sided tape and re-attach...
