Default 60K maintenance price?

I'm going in for my 60K maintenance next week on my 2002 WRX and I wanted to know if I should bring my credit card or my check card How much did everyone else pay for theirs? Or am I the only high milage slut?

damn.....60k already? sheesh i thought i was high at 40k for my '02

anyways, shouldn't be too much more then 30k, maybe add an additional cost for belts replacement, brake pads and rotors if those haven't been touch

just don't let them scare you into doing the timing belt, as it is not required till 105kmi

btw, where r u taking it into, sierra?

Default tire life

Since you have 60k miles, I assume you have been through a few sets of tires. I am looking to get 18 inch wheels and tires, but would like something that won't wear out after 15k miles.

Can you tell me what tires you have been using and what kind of mileage you have been getting?

Thanks,
Greg

I bought it in May 2001 so it's a little over 2 years worth of milage. I live 40+ miles from work, so I end up driving about 90 miles for every day of work.

The tires I have used are:

1 set of RE 92's stock. Lasted about 17K miles.
1 set of Bridgstone Potenza RE930is. Lasted about 20K.

Switched to 225/45/17's on Rota Battle 17" rims.

1 set of Bridgestone Potenza RE730s. Lasted about 25K.

I'm getting a set of Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712s tomorrow. I figured I'd see if they perform as well as the higher priced ones.
