So why would you title the topic so if the article is actually about McRae signing a 2 year extension with Ford?

Good question.
Answer: There was a good deal of spectulation that McRae would 'come home' to Subaru next year.

Also, on the same web site a story about Juha being replaced for The Tour of Corsica next month.
