i discussed a bit of this idea with the Reno guys during the 8-23 sac meet, but i totally forgot about it later on during the day. i was wondering if anybody could design a "recruitment" flyer or something. There's a number of Imprezas in Stockton, and i've been noticing there are some cute girls driving them.

so my motive be such, i really don't care for the stalker find the car, wait for them method...so i was thinking that it'd be so much easier if somebody who has some visual arts skill could design a flyer that talks about nasioc/i-club/the whole subaru subculture and invites a person to join.....and i could just slap the flyer onto their windshield wiper blade, and presto, word got to another scooby owner.

the number of imprezas are climbing in stockton, but instead of the original purchases done by the 40+ demographic that i originally noticed, there are more and more college students showing up in them. i've already spotted two cute blondes, and there's a number of asians already ricing the WRX sadly enough. not to mention the WRX who has a huge orange autobot decal on his hood. i would like to approach these people, but i usually just see their cars or them passing by me, so since cars are parked, why not leave a note? what you guys think?

thinking more of a universal flyer that i could just have a pile of in the glove and just slap it on when i see another impreza in the parking lot

Why not just make a little business card?

Check em out.
The local Subaru crowd is very friendly, helpful and informative.

That should fit nicely onto a card.
If you want to be fancy you could include a Subaru background image.
Print a sheet of them on your color printer and cut them out.
Go nuts spreading the word.

i just suck at any visual arts ^^;;
i'll see what i could do, i just wanted to discuss it and see if anybody got some better ideas

I used to hand write notes and stick em on Imprezas but I think people got wierded out by it and I guess it's a crappy way to make friends too. I left my email and s/n but I never get responses.

When am I going to get one of those flyers to go to a meet? I want a flyer or something on my car to invite me to go to a meet seeing how i've never been to one. Haha I've driven by the UCKK meets but I just go to get some donuts.
