I don't think it stays perfectly clear too long though. I thought it scratched somewhat easily and looked horrible after just a little while... Anyone with experience on it?

it would get scratched bad too fast, as is darn near impossible to break in an emergency...

I would consider this mod only if the car were for racing only. Lexan on a street car would probably not be that great for the reasons the others have stated.

Another reason not to do it, is that it doesn't seal...bad for rain driving. But if it's a race car, get carbon fiber everything
