Default V7 sti 6 speed with DCCD install

Hey there,

am enquiring about installing a V7 sti 6 speed into a 99 model WRX (Am in Australia). I know it can be done. What I need information on is the DCCD or manually adjustable torque split on the centre diff. I figure this is where I am going to run into probs. Has anybody any experience in installing one of these boxes?? Is it a standalone system or does it link into the factory ecu. I was looking at getting the gearbox, the control knob, the wiring harness and the control box at the end of it. Anything I have missed?? Any feedback appreciated. Cheers.

GEMS makes a nice EMCD controller that is programable simular to a stand alone engine management. This would take the headaches out of having to find a stock EMCD loom and controller.
