Post Mod friendly mechanics in Belleville/St.Louis Area?

ok ok, so I guess I did a rather dumb thing. I went out and bought a TXS turbo back exhaust (high flow cat) without even thinking how I would install it. I figured as long as I wasn't getting the racepipe it would be legit. I took it to a local exhaust specialst the other day and they gave me the "we can't install this, it's illegal" run-around.

I hope I'm not screwed, does anyone know any mod-friendly techs in the Belleville IL / St.louis area? you can email me if you don't feel comfortable posting names.

Installing a TBE is easy. I have to believe that someone in the St Louis crowd would help you install it for free.

EDIT: Heck, check out this thread.

*edit* website sucks.... look in the phone book for the meineke shop on St. Charles Rock Road. that's where they are out of..

they sponsored the STL SCCA solo2 season a year or two ago, and will be able to help you out on the install np.
Ask for Bob Volpe. - (or look for the alfa romeo collection he's got)

Ron does great work. If you cant find someone to help, or you cant wait for the install day, pm axis power racing. He built my exhaust, so I am sure he could install yours

got it done already, but thanks anyway. I went to a smaller shop around belleville, the guy didn't even think twice. And man-o-man do I love that sound, definitely one of the better exhausts that I've heard.
