Next ...... on the list...is to continue to wire...wire....wire....Then hopefully I can Enjoy it......Man I can't wait to get it going....

Should be pretty quick I would think...

Some notables:
-The Inspection cover on the WRX motor for the flywheel had to be removed....the RS flywheel doesn't clear it....so its gone...

-Power steering lines hooked right up...with no problems....

-Stock RS AC Compressor works...but you have to modify the Green Rails of death to get the line to clear....

Probably going to Napa to see If I can find a suitable matched radiator hose to fit the RS Radiator....The bottom RS hose works...but its still got a small kink in it...The Top is definately a no go....

More later...

Awesome! Wish I was that far. What splitter is that?

I don't know how you managed to do all your wires in 7 hours. I just spent 2 hours doing two connectors on my instrument cluster...

Where did you buy your engine from? I'm quite impressed with the red plugs on all the openings. The only engine I've ever bought had bolts stuck in all the coolant/vacuum hoses & the TB & Turbo were fully exposed/open.

Jon...
The Splitter is a Bozz Speed Piece for the GC8....doesn't fit with my intercooler.....its made for the old style STi intercooler...makes me kinda mad...I was looking forward to having it...

wanna buy it????

Bill

The motor came from Import Auto Salvage is where I got my motor....90 day warranty...and yes they use all the plugs...They are simply awesome to work with....I traded my 2.5 motor and some $$$ for the WRX stuff....So I am very happy....I highly reccomend them...

Scooby South: With the Legacy Turbo cross member what Sway bar is compatible? Im currently performing an engine swap. I dont mind to order a legacy turbo sway bar from Whiteline australia but Id rather order an alternative that can be found locally

Any turbo swaybar should work fine. I'll be using a WRX front swaybar.

Really? Thats great news. I have an NA 22mm whiteline installed in the engine swap car now.

I do trust you're right, but have you actually seen one installed before?

i have the WRX wagon swaybar on my legacy turbo crossmember and it knocks a lot and the steering wheel is crooked a little. im looking into a JDM GC8 bar or just getting the legacy turbo bar.
