Question Good body shops in Sacramento??

Well, a Tacoma reversed in the side of my car so now I'm looking for a good body shop to repair it at. =*(**

Today I checked out a shop called B&Js and they were alright but I just wanna look around since their shop really couldn't compare to the ones I checked out in SLO..

I did a search here and could only come up with Bertolucci's (which I hear takes months to get your car done...and i can't do that), and some shop in West Sac..

So, any other recommendations? A good good shop.. thanks! =)

I can comment on Bertoluccis....

So far they've had my car for about 25 days or so. They're expecting the car to be completed next week on Friday (9/5) or the following week early in. Their original time estimate was 30 days to repair, and if they hold to what they told me today, they're pretty on target to that.

I've talked to a few people who have loved them, and a bunch of people at my gfs work had nothing but good things to say about them. Thus far, their staff up front have been very helpful and friendly and they don't mind me coming by to check status (or at least they don't act like it..I only call about once a week). Checking out the car today, they had just completed the few engine repairs needed - or rather the dealer they had contracted was complete. Work looked great. The under hood pieces they installed - core support, upper tie, etc, all looks great. I'd have to check the color on their painting further, but it looked to match the shock tower (which shouldn't have been painted) perfectly.

When I get my car back, the first thing I'm doing is taking it to s^2 to have them check the work, and ive me an un-emotionally biased run down of how the car looks. So far though, I don't expect them to find much wrong - the work Bertoluccis is doing seems great. I'll know more (hopefully) in a week

Good luck getting your car fixed. It's a HUGE pain in the ass, but worth it if you get it to the right shop. And so you know, if the other person is at fault (which it sounds like they are), get a rental. Don't know your age, but I'm 22 and I've got a rental paid through the insurance companies. It should be the same for you. Then you'll have a bit of flexibility on the time.

Sorry 'bout your car

Thanks for the info sonic! i appreciate it =)

They sound like a great company and a couple of my friends recommended them as well. I'm gonna go check them out tomorrow.. I'm just kind of thinking it may be overkill taking my car there since I hear they work on really really really nice cars (even though the person who hit my car is paying for it)..=D
