Just wondering about what intake I should buy. I want to see what you all have before I buy. Thanks

I've got a PDM Intake. It's very similar to ImprezaRS.com's intake, except it uses a 3 inch tube. This is for MY0x's. It won't work with MY9x's.

You can find more info about it at http://www.pdm-racing.com

Cool

Ryan MI,

After the rear sway bar, Larry's intake was the very next mod I added. Well worth the effort. It provides even the most sheepish of newbie wrenchers confidence to work on their scoobies.

Check out the private sale classifieds, or do a search for "cool air intakes."

You could also visit his website www.imprezars.com

Good luck!

Tom

The Turn3. But you can't buy it anymore anyway.

Depending on Cobb's intake, I may sell it...

I have Larry's Intake, and it's pretty nice, especially for the price Not to mention it made the first foray into the mod world easy. Really built my confidence in messing with my Scooby.

Cool

I have Larry's intake, and I was customer #1. Yeah, that's right. Larry can confirm it. I'm in PITA that started it all.

I have a JC Sports intake on my 95 L, and I love it. Great product.

Question

[Disclaimer: too lazy to do a search....]

Which intake is "safest" for a 99RS? Or are the all equally destructive to the MAF's?

I'm with STiTkacik, JC Sports on a 95 L. But I do think it matters what year you have as to which is the "best", obviously, I can't use Larry's...

You should have checked the newbie section...this has been done a MILLION TIMES...and a post about it is stillnew ...next time PLEASE do a search or just look in the other forums....but here:

1) TRi Tuning ...Chris is a God, Full CAI intake just like the best intakes for civics the AEM ones. They'll need a AT tranny RS tester ...i will be that person I will do that for you Chris!
2) Impreza dot.com / Larry's intake ...Larry makes the best bang for the buck ...TRi intake is just a little better IMHO
3)Ralispec- and great intake, but at $300 I don't have bank like that for a intake
4) JC sports- solid intake with dyno information... shipping, customer service, and all parts included are known problems though
5) 8complex's - but that's more of ram air
6)Deadbolt and Templar's intakes-solid design and great looks with quality filters
7)iSR Intake - heard nothing but good things and, pam (WRXGirl) has a great track record
Then in 8th is a Weapon R intake w/ BLITZ filter... not the crap it comes with.
