I like to eat ants.

Thumbs up

Driver rocks, as long as you don't compare it to any of the GTs. The control is very loose with an emphasis on non-reality. The plot is barely there. The game play is repetative. But the game is still down-right fun to play.

It also has an extensive replay editor, but this requires WEEKS of free time, IE college student free time.

I'd recomend it as a cheap stuffer.

Ya, what he said.

It is pretty fun. You just go around running into cars, runnin from the cops. But like he said, it is NOT realistic. That would be pretty sweet if they combined GT with Driver!

I've always longed for a realistic driving sim that was adventure based... still waiting.

Anyway, I have Driver for the PC, & it totally blows away Driver on the Playstation in terms of looks (obviously). It was a lot of fun, but the cop AI was really annoying (what kind of cops try to ram you head on at 80 mph?)

I personally like more realism in driving/racing games. Driver flat pissed me off. I had no fun with it and was very happy that I just rented it and didn't buy it. Then I realized that I payed 3 bucks to rent it and was upset agian. I am not trying to put anyone down who liked the game, it does have pretty good graphics but for me the game play was not there. This is just my opinion do not base your purchase on my remarks. I would suggest renting it first. I know how hard extra money is to come by for me so wasting money on a game you dont like is not worth it. On the other hand if you do like the game then you know the purchase is worth it.

Obviously you guys haven't played Interstate '76.

Guns, Cars, Babes...

Sure it's not realistic, but the soundtrack kicks all kindsa ass.
