Thumbs up www.duffguards.com

Thanks to Jamie at duffguards.com!

I ordered his air splitter and radiator shroud, and despite some initial shipping problems (I'm a canuck) he took care of it completely

I installed both this weekend. I was very satisified with the preciseness of the fit, and quality of the powdercoating. Both items felt very "beefy" and felt "bulit to last". I also like the black powdercoating as it looks like the car came with them stock.

Anyway, here's some pics:

RADIATOR SHROUD
===============================================

radiator shroud comes with foam for sealing your radiator:

I cut the foam in half and sealed the sides of my radiator

Done! (more pics at www.duffguards.com/radiator.htm)

continued in the next post... (more pics)

HOOD SCOOP SPLITTER
(see www.duffguards.com/splitmount.htm)
===============================================
Here's the hood scoop splitter installed on the stock WRX intercooler plate:
(NOTE: I added foam blocking for my Sti hoodscoop as suggested in this thread:

Here's a some pics of the splitter viewed through an STi hoodscoop opening:

Once again, thanks jamie for a great product!

As to driving impressions - I found I that the car "bogs" much less dramatically after sitting at a light, and the car pulls harder - ever so slightly from a light - then again, - I'm sure most of it is placebo effect

FYI - I did the radiator shroud, splitter, and Sti scoop all at the same time - so I reason that the 3 added together must account for SOME of the better performance I've been experiencing lately, however miniscule - or at least my wallet would like to think so.

Cheers!
