Cool Looking for an education

Wondering if NE1 knows of a local high school/college/shop that offers workshops for the following:

- engine building
- automotive spray painting
- welding/metal fabrication

Yes, Jack, it's for the FFR...

I think it was 510 bucks for the first welding course. 11 weeks long wakefield. Sounds like a plan to me ( I am going to call them in a few months)

No order until the end of next year, looking for a donor and collecting parts, at which I am apparently a natural...

Also, grabbing the required shop stuff (i.e. tools, compressor, stands, painting stuff, etc.)

I'm going with the following extras right away:
- Performance seats with sliders
- Ceramic-coated header and exhaust (don't know about cats yet, do I have to to pass inspection?)
- 3-link "Bundle" rear suspension
- Chromed roll-bar
- Chromed bumpers
- Smiths gauge set
- Light and ignition switches
- Wipers
- Heater/defrost
- Wind wings
- Leather interior
- Body cut-outs
- Pre-cut dash

Still on the fence about the convertible top.

Yep, I think I'm there under my full name "Jason Marotta", might be "jpmarotta", I forgot...

No, going EFI.

Yep, will be "pushing" air into the intake, although not right away.

I thought about closing it and figured that it would not reflect reality. I'll close it in a post sometime in the future.

Jason.....the 8 weber lookalike stack is EFI! That's the good news...the bad news is that it's $2500 plus another $2500 for computer and other related stuff. The Kenne Bell supercharger occationally goes on sale for $2400. If it does this winter, I'll get one.

Wow.....look at all the options! The state of Mass seems to really be clamping down on kit registrations for some reason. Mike Everson is on a collecting mission, getting statements from those who have gone through it. It's very inconsistant. You should build with the expectation that you'll have to pass emissions and then if you don't, just brethe a sigh of relief. I believe that if you really needed to, you can still get a DEM waiver. 2k miles a year limit on driving.

Although others on ffrcobra might disagree, I say not to get cutouts. I didn't and found it quite easy. You'll have to clean up every one anyways and they have been known to make mistakes. If you need a trailer to pick up the kit, let me know...I have one.
