Default front diffential question on 2002 OBS

I have a A/T and I want to change the tranny fluid and the front and rear differentials. Does anyone know what size socket or wrench I need to loosen the front diffential plug? I've read that a 1/2" ratchet works on the rear diffential, does that work on the front as well? If so, I also heard it isn't an exact fit. I worry about not getting the plugs tight enough if there is some play between the socket wrench and square plug. I don't want to strip it.

Thanks
