Talking Getting Closer....

Heres a quicky update:...I was on vacation last week so I didn't get hardly anything done...however.

- Think I got all the mechanical stuff done....

- Coolant lines are completely done..
- Radiator hoses are all done
- Power Steering lines are done
- Oil is in
- Coolant is in...
- Changed my thermostat (old one looked good tho)
- Brakes are Bleed ( With the WRX Booster and MC they feel SOLID for sure.) ...had to adjust my MRT Brake Bracket as the WRX MC is a tad longer....
- Wiring is about 3/4 of the way thru...
EVERYTHING is labeled on both harness's now....including the Engine plugs....Most of the Cutting of the WRX harness is complete....What A mess....I still have to loom it up to get the professional look I want....
- intake is on
- Perrin I/C hoses are on...
-Power Steering Resovior is secured
-Throttle Cable is on and operational (Full Range)
-Clutch is operational after Bleeding the clutch..

Some notables:
- Use the RS coolant tank Resovoir...I tryed to get the WRX one to work...but its just tooooo Fat...
- Power steering Resovior is secured using the Existing Bumper bolt next to the ABS pump...Drill it out so the bumper beam bolt holds the Resovoir bracket down...no Zip ties and VERY sturdy...
-Definatly use the WRX Throttle cable as it is longer than the RS one...and didn't notice this before but the RS throttle cable connects up to the Drivers side...the WRX one Hooks up on the Passenger side....I cut the Stock WRX throttle bracket in half and used the WRX CRUISE control half for the throttle..because it offset more in toward the throttle.....I am not sure but I think a Legacy Outback one will work with this also so you don't have to cut it in half....and you can use the Cruise control...(Something I will probably attempt to install after I get the motor running)

Future:
-Continue to plug away at the wiring....
-put my dash back together
-finish putting my Exhaust on
-finish polishing my IC
-Test fit the harness and Start Soldering...(Yahhhhhhhhh)...

Heres some more pics for ya...
Some detail of my cooling Hoses...The Throttle bracket. My completed intake and Coolant lines.and my wiring mess......

Getting close tho...hopefully within the next week or so...(since I can only do this a little at night and Sat /Sun....
Enjoy......

Bill
