Default Comin' up on 7,500 miles

So, I coming up on 7,500 miles in my 03 WRX. Just wondering if that 7,500 miles service at the dealer is really worth it. I figure it is just a oil change, lube job and "checkin" stuff to make sure that everything is ok. Otherwise, I rather wait until the 15k and 30k mark.

Savin' money for other stuff....heheh

any info would be appreciated!

Wait till 30K. Just rotate your tires, check all the fluids and change the oil.

Screw the dealer ripoff.
Make sure you can document the oil change somehow. If you do it yourself, keep receipts for the filter and oil. Keep them in a little logbook with mileage.

Glad I read this. My WRX has 7k and soon I was debating to do this service. I have always been a non service guy, just strict oil changes and common sense. My dad had a Toyota, had over 300k miles when he sold it. He always did the oil change on time and wear and tear things but no dealer service. Ran like a jem till the day he had it. So I have always been skeptical to do them. Even though I have had a nightmare with my other car cause I never did them, and I've had all sorts of issues. But I was always on the money with oil change and routine. Just wondering how every one else is about scheduled maintainance?
