Question how do you change fog bulbs on an MY00 RS?

havent looked yet, is it the same kind of holding mechanism as the headlight bulbs? my Hella yellowstar 85w fog bulbs should be here today.

hey, you can just take out the whole assembly via 3 screws. Once you have the fogs off, it'll be easy to do. I haven't exactly checked myself, but since they are a different style bulb, the way they're held in there will be different, too. Again, since you can take the whole light assembly out, you'll have easy full access to where the bulb goes in, so it shouldn't be tough.

Yep, 3 screws (don't touch the one that looks different, that one's for the beam adjuster), remove light, disconnect harness, twist & remove cap on back, unplug bulb terminal, push down on metal bulb retainer, remove bulb (DON'T TOUCH THE BULB GLASS), repeat backwards with new bulb.

It's actually very simple. The are just H3 bulbs, very similar to the headlights. The three large screws will take out the whole assembly, then you just unfasten the little wire on the back of the bulb. You'll know what I mean once you get the assembly off.

Question

thanx guys, just did it on my lunch break. so who has the yellowstars 85w, and are they really yellow/yellow light? are they very bright at night, and do they make a big difference in inclement weather?
