I remember someone posted something about turning that cut off switch thingamajigbobafluxcapacitator thing so that you don't have to dig that clutch into the ground to start your car. I forgot how to do it, and where it's exactly located, and yes I've tried searching, and I got was "ACT Clutch" and stuff about clutches, nothing on how to do that.

Take a look at the clutch pedal. There're two wires running to a switch, & if you clip them & attach them to each other, you should be in business.

Nah, I remember him saying something about turning something counter clockwise, and something else.. ? I don't feel kosher about cutting anything that's got to do with the ignition

I think that ridinlow is correct. Every clutch safety I've seen is a simple contact closure switch, kind of the same lines as how brakelights turn on. Anyone else?

I think he is looking for adjustment, not removal advice. It is a bad idea to remove the feature, and I think it maybe be illegal it remove a safety feature.
Making so that you did not have to masht he clutch into the firewall would be a better idea. Jeff |

I disabled the clutch on my brother's RS recently. Takes about five minutes. Look at the clutch pedal lever, there are two switches on it, as you push the clutch in the lower button will open right away (this is for the cruise control), but the top button won't open until the clutch is almost to the floor. Just pull the connector off the top switch, and jumper the two terminals using 2 spade connectors joined by a short piece of wire.

Crap, I did that mod 2 years ago, and don't exactly remember how! Crawl under there and adjust a bolt to lessen the pressure. Vague enough?
