Default local roads to test-drive on?

O.K., a friend of mine just bought an STi, and we want to wring out both of our cars on a road with the following:

1) lots of curves, preferably not too tight like going up the front-side of Mt. Hamilton, but the back-side is really nice.

2) No traffic - so somewhere close, but not hours away from the penninsula.

3) No police, so forget Skyline, highway 9, highway 1 etc.

4) Long enough between stoplights and crossroads to make it worthwhile.

Any suggestions?

How about the road at the top of Pagemill across Skyline -- Alpine Road? About 30 miles down to the coast, lots of off-cambers and switchbacks, really gives the suspension a workout. Only drawback is that it is narrow so you have to take it real easy around blind curves.

There's a place called Woodside. It's like 30 mins. long going the speed limit. There's minimal traffic and at the end of twisting road there's a LOOOOnnnggg straight away! I don't know the exit but it's down 101 south from San Fransico.
